MacBride Roundhouse - Home of Engine 51

MacBride offers tours at the Roundhouse focused on Whitehorse waterfront’s fascinating history. The tour includes stories about the White Pass & Yukon Route, the mighty sternwheelers that once plied the Yukon River and how the rail was used in the construction of the Alaska Canada Highway. The Waterfront Trolley summer schedule has concluded. The trolley will operate Saturdays in September from noon to 3pm.

MacBride Waterfront Trolley summer schedule has concluded. 
The trolley travels from the Roundhouse to Rotary Park with stops at the White Pass building and the Yukon Visitor Centre and then return to the Roundhouse. A round trip is approximately 30 minutes. Staff will be providing an interpretative overview of waterfront history during the ride.

The Trolley will run Saturdays only from Noon to 3pm in September 2024.

Tickets for the trolley will be available at the front desk at MacBride Museum or onboard the trolley with cash or Square payments on board. Tickets are $3 per person for all ages.
