Members Book Club
September 12, 2024
We will be kicking off book club this winter with an iconic piece of Yukon literature: Klondike by Pierre Berton.
We started book club to discuss Yukon literature and celebrate local authors and stories. At each meeting we will discuss the month's book as well as the connections that each one has to MacBride's own collection and themes.
Meetings will be once a month on Fridays at noon. We will announce the next month's date at each meeting.
If you have your own copy of Klondike and would like to join us at the next meeting we would love to have you! No time to read the book? We would still love to have you!
We will be meeting on Friday, October 25th at 12pm at the museum to discuss Klondike.
Please email anordahl@macbridemuseum.com if you will be joining us on Oct 25th, or if you are in need of a copy of the book! We have limited copies in our reference library that can be checked out, or it is available in our gift shop at a discounted price for book club members.
