Summer Lecture Series

This summer we have special guests coming in to talk about all sorts of Yukon topics.

A couple times a week you can find Tim Kinvig, longtime radio sound technician and local communications historian, and Pam Buckway, a former CFWH announcer and HAM radio operator inside the telegraph office answering questions and sharing their own stories.

Longtime Yukoner Ione Christenson can also be found at the museum regularly throughout the summer.  The former mayor of Whitehorse, Commissioner of the Yukon, Yukon Senator, and Member of the Order of Canada is very passionate about the Yukon and and its history.  Check below for a full list of Ione's lectures happening this summer!
