Please donate today. For 60 years MacBride Museum has been collecting, preserving and exhibiting Yukon’s history. As a non-profit society we rely on community support to maintain the high quality programs, exhibits and collections for which MacBride is proudly known.

Volunteer

Do you love Yukon history? MacBride Museum is currently looking for committed and energetic volunteers to help with:
1. Front Desk / Docent: Volunteers greet visitors, collect admission fees and guide tours through the MacBride Museum galleries.
2. Programming: Volunteers help develop and deliver MacBride Museum’s educational programming to children.
3. Events: Volunteers act as Yukon ambassadors by greeting guests or tending bar at one of MacBride Museum’s many events.
All volunteers must commit to at least a six-month term.
All volunteers must pass an RCMP background check.

Most Visited Exhibits
In 2014, MacBride Museum welcomed more than 22,000 visitors. Plus thousands more see our exhibits at the Canada Games Centre, the Softball Centre, and the Hougen Heritage Gallery in Whitehorse, and at the Skookum Jim House in Carcross.
